About rais
Ustad Rais Khan is a renowned Rajasthani folk musician, having performed and featured with Barmer Boys, Mumford and Sons, A.R Rahman and many others, gracing the stages of festivals worldwide. His music reflects a blending of folk traditions with ancient traditional Sufi songs, put through the lens of a modern soundscape incorporating beatboxing and world rhythms. As the leader of Rais Khan Project he has brought together musicians from around the globe to explore new territories in folk music.
